    Koda 2 Max Pizza Oven

    Use

    • Compatible with propane and natural gas; natural gas conversion kit (sold separately) required.
    • Cook only dry, bread-based dishes directly on stone. Meat, vegetables and other wet dishes should be cooked using Ooni Cast Iron Pans (sold separately) or other pans that withstand high temperatures.
    • Do not use water to extinguish oven fire as this can cause damage and personal injury.
    • Turn off oven, then turn off gas supply before disconnecting regulator from tank.
    • Make sure oven is completely cool before moving or storing.

    Care

    • Let oven cool completely before cleaning. This can take up to 60 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. Do not use water to cool oven as this can cause damage and injury.
    • To clean interior: Run oven at highest temperature for 30 minutes to burn off excess food. Once cool, wipe down with paper towels.
    • To clean exterior: Once cool, wipe clean with soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaning products and harsh chemicals.
    • To clean stainless-steel parts: Use Bar Keepers Friend Power Cream and rough side of sponge.
    • To clean baking board: Allow oven to cool completely, then flip board over. The oven's high temperatures will clean underside of board the next time it is used. Alternatively, clean with pizza oven brush or wire brush. Do not clean in dishwasher. Do not clean with water or dishwashing liquid.
    • To clean visor: Once cool, use paper towel or dry cloth to remove soot. For more thorough cleaning, use warm, soapy water.
    • We recommend storing oven indoors, especially during inclement weather and near saltwater.
    • If oven is stored outdoors, use Koda 2 Max Cover to keep it dry and protect it from debris.

    • Wipe clean with damp cloth using mild detergent as needed.
    • Avoid using abrasive cleaning products and harsh chemicals.

    Care

    • To ensure accurate readings, keep lens clear of dirt, dust, moisture, fog, smoke and debris.
    • To clean lens, use compressed air to blow off loose particles. Gently brush away remaining debris with moist cotton cloth.
    • Wipe case clean with damp sponge or cloth and mild soap.
    • If thermometer will be idle for extended periods of time, remove battery and store indoors.

    Use

    • Bowls are microwave and freezer safe (lid is not).
    • Do not use in pizza oven.
    • Care
    • Hand-wash with warm soapy water.
    • To thoroughly clean lid, remove silicone seal. Do not submerge in water or other liquid. Dry thoroughly before storing.

    Receiving Instructions

    • Store pizza crust mix at room temperature for up to 18 months.
    • Store unopened pizza sauce at room temperature for up to 18 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 21 days.
    • Store pizza oil at room temperature for up to 18 months.

    Preparation Instructions

    Ingredients

    • 1 packet yeast (included)
    • 1 1/4 cups (310ml) warm water (105°F–115°F/41°C–46°C)
    • 1 packet pizza crust mix (included)
    • All-purpose flour for dusting
    • Pizza sauce, grated mozzarella cheese and toppings, as desired
    • Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling

    Instructions

    • In large bowl, whisk together yeast and warm water and let stand until foamy, approx. 5 minutes.
    • If mixing by hand: Add pizza crust mix to bowl and stir with wooden spoon until dough starts to come together. Continue mixing by hand until dough forms a ball. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead with both hands until smooth and elastic, approx. 10 minutes. Return dough to bowl and cover with plastic wrap or damp kitchen towel and leave to rise in warm place until doubled in size, approx. 1–2 hours.
    • If using stand mixer: Fit mixer with dough hook and add pizza crust mix to bowl. With mixer on low speed, gradually pour in water-yeast mixture and mix until dough forms a ball. Continue mixing until smooth and elastic, approx. 10 minutes. Cover bowl with plastic wrap or damp kitchen towel and leave to rise until doubled in size, approx. 1–2 hours.
    • When dough has doubled in size, divide it into 3 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place on baking sheet. Cover again with plastic wrap or damp towel and let rise again for 1–2 hours.
    • If using Ooni pizza oven, preheat according to manufacturer's instructions.
    • If using conventional oven, preheat to 500°F (260°C) approx. 30 minutes before cooking pizza.
    • Working with 1 dough ball at a time, on lightly floured surface, gently press down dough starting in center and moving out toward edges, then gently stretch into a round 8–10" (20–25 cm) in diam.
    • If using Ooni pizza oven, place dough on pizza peel and top as desired. Using pizza peel, transfer pizza to oven. Bake until crust is crisp and cheese is bubbling, approx. 1 minute, rotating pizza every 20 seconds to ensure even cooking.
    • If using conventional oven, place dough on pizza pan or in ovenproof skillet and top as desired. Bake until crust is crisp and cheese is bubbling, approx. 10–12 minutes.
    • Drizzle pizza with olive oil and serve immediately. Repeat with remaining dough to assemble and bake 2 more pizzas.
    • Makes 2–4 servings.

    For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations.     Return Policy

    At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

    Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.
